About Stafsjö
Stafsjö has a 360-year-old manufacturing tradition in the small village of Stavsjö in Sweden. Today, and for almost 100 years, we are focused on providing the most optimal knife gate valve solutions for our customers’ application areas.
With both local and global focus, we continuously develop and improve our product range. Key areas for us are those that improve the performance, durability and safety of our products and reduce environmental impact. Together with our customers, we are shaping the process industry of the future.
As part of our offering, we also provide technical assistance and automation equipment aimed at optimizing the knife gate valve solution for customer unique applications. Our ambition is that, as a customer, you should always feel confident in choosing Stafsjö and in using a product supplied by us.

Our History
The story of Stafsjö begins in 1666 when Gerdt Störning founded Stafsjö Bruk. What started with the manufacturing of cannons continued for nearly 200 years and laid the foundation for a strong manufacturing tradition.
In 1928, our first knife gate valves were introduced and manufactured, marking the beginning of a new industrial focus that continues to define us today.
Now, 360 years after it all began, the legacy of our manufacturing expertise, innovation capability and customer focus are driving forces that will carry us into the next century and beyond.
